Where we work in Mallorca

From Palma to Cala Ratjada is a little over an hour, and to Pollença or Andratx less, so we cover the whole island with the same team. What changes from one comarca (the island's traditional districts) to the next is the setting: salt on the coast, clay inland, urbanizaciones (residential estates) that empty in winter, and historic centres with narrow streets. That is why we divide the island into six areas.

The six areas

• Palma: penthouse terraces, courtyards of residential communities, old buildings in the centre and villas in Son Vida, Gènova and Establiments.
• Calvià and Andratx: villas with pools, steep garage ramps, salt air from Portals to Camp de Mar, owners who live abroad and property managers.
• Marratxí and Llucmajor: estates of detached houses with a front parking area, from Pòrtol and Sa Cabaneta to S'Arenal, Badia Blava and Sa Torre.
• Inca and the Raiguer: fincas with long tracks, clay soils that move, and village houses with courtyards in Binissalem, Santa Maria, Alaró or Sa Pobla.
• Manacor and the Llevant: holiday villas on the east coast, from Porto Cristo to Cala Ratjada, Santanyí stone and large fincas inland.
• Pollença and Alcúdia: the foot of the Tramuntana, humidity from the bay, houses closed for the winter, and wind and salt in Port de Pollença and Platja de Muro.

Visits and timings

For most quotes, photos and square metres sent through the form are enough. We come to see the site when there are level changes, difficult access for the lorry, doubts about drainage or a terrace that leaks. We group visits by area: one in Artà or Andratx may take a few days longer to schedule than one in Palma, but it does not cost more.

A stamped concrete job takes several consecutive days on the same site; a reseal fits into a day's round in the area. For holiday homes we work with the owner at a distance, or with whoever manages the property, in the months when the house is empty. If you need a particular date, say so when you ask for a quote.
