We build it, we protect it and we restore it

Most paving companies install and leave. We think an outdoor surface in Mallorca is a cycle, not a delivery. Sun, salt, autumn rain and limestone dust wear away the sealer that protects stamped concrete, stone or asphalt, and once that protection is gone the real deterioration begins. That is why every job of ours includes protection from day one and a guide date for renewing it, and why we restore surfaces that others laid years ago.

One team for the whole exterior

The same team that prepares the sub-base pours the concrete, stamps it, cuts the joints and applies the sealer. And the same team waterproofs the roof terrace, applies the microcement on the porch and seals the driveway. That makes it possible to plan the complete exterior of a house or a residential community with a single point of contact, which matters when the owner is abroad for part of the year or the work is handled through a property manager.

Our quotes separate the sub-base, the thickness, the reinforcement, the finish and the sealing. Each item carries its measurement and its description. It is the only way to compare two offers and to know what you are paying for.

We come back

When we hand over a surface, we note when the sealer should be checked. When that time comes we get in touch to look at it and, if it is due, reseal. Resealing on time costs a fraction of a restoration and keeps the colour and the protection as they were on the first day. It is the part of the work that property administrators and owners who do not live on the island all year value most.

The name

A solera is the concrete slab that everything else rests on: the paving, the daily use, the years. In everyday Spanish it also describes something with depth and tradition. Both meanings seemed right for work that consists of getting the base right and coming back to look after it.
